Application campaign for the Teaching Assistant Program in France 2026-2027 is open!

The Language Assistant Programme offers you the opportunity to teach English in France for 7 months, to students/pupils of all ages. Each year, about 170 positions are offered to Kenyan students to teach in public schools in all regions of France and in the French Overseas Departments.

Key dates

• 15th of November 2025 to 15th of January 2026, submission of applications
• January 2026, pre-selection on file
• January to February 2026, interviews
• May 2026, announcement of interview results
• June 2026, announcement of assignments

Eligibility requirements

• Be a Kenyan citizen
• Be between 20 and 35 years old on the start date of the program
• Be enrolled in university, TVET or Alliance Française
• Have studied mainly in Kenya
• Have a minimum B1 level certificate in French
